Police have put out an urgent appeal for a 33-year-old vulnerable woman from Ayr who disappeared on Monday afternoon.

A picture has been released of what Torri Clissold was wearing when she was last seen, with a purple tunic top with black leggings and carrying an over-the-shoulder bag.

She was last seen at New Bridge Street in the town at 2.30pm on June 3. Officers say there have been extensive enquiries made to trace her.

Torri is described as white, around 5ft 4 inches in height, with a medium build and brown hair which she often wears in a braid. She also wears glasses.

Officers are reviewing relevant CCTV from in and around the area Torri was last seen for any additional information on where she may have gone.

Inspector Christopher Cochrane said: “Extensive enquiries are under way to locate Torri, and I am asking members of the public who may have seen her to contact us. If anyone has any information on her whereabouts, please get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2794 of 3 June 2024.
