Urgent 'call 999' warning as police launch search for Halifax man
Police have urged the public to call 999 if they see a man wanted for stalking and domestic abuse offences in Halifax.
Kyle Barnitt is accused of stalking on Thursday, January 16, alongside domestic abuse offences which are alleged to have taken place in August 2024. The 31-year-old is described as white, around 6ft and of a stocky build. He is from Halifax and has connection to Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees.
West Yorkshire Police said: "Police have issued a fresh appeal for information to help find Kyle Barnitt who is wanted in connection with a report of stalking and a number of other domestic abuse incidents.

"The stalking incident occurred on Thursday 16 January in Halifax while the other domestic offences are alleged to have taken place in August last year. Barnitt, 31, is described as white, approximately 6ft tall and of stocky build. He is from the Halifax area and has connections to Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees.
"Officers have been conducting extensive enquiries and are appealing for the public’s help in locating him."
