Urgent search launched for girl with Glasgow links missing during Storm Eowyn
An urgent search has been launched for a 14-year-old girl missing during Storm Éowyn — and Glasgow residents are asked to be vigilant.
Chloe Ellis has been missing from home in Livingston since Thursday (January 23). She is known to frequent Glasgow.
Police said they are "increasingly concerned" for the welfare of Chloe as they asked for help from the public in locating her. The teenager was last seen on Burnsknowe in the Deans area of Livingston at around 8.25am.

Chloe is described as being 5'5" tall with long brown hair. When she was last seen in West Lothian she was wearing a black leather jacket.
Police Sergeant John Watson said: “We are for the welfare of Chloe and would ask if anyone who knows her whereabouts to get in contact with us.
“She is known to frequent Glasgow, Edinburgh, Livingston and Bathgate. She may have travelled to the Dunbar area.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We are appealing for information to help trace 14-year-old Chloe Ellis missing from Livingston. Chloe was last seen around 8.25am on Thursday, 23 January, 2025 in the Burnsknowe, Deans area. She is described as 5’5” with long brown hair. She was wearing a black leather jacket."
The spokesperson added: "Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0949 of 23 January, 2025."
