Urgent search for woman after Pleasley hit and run murder of young mum
Derbyshire police have issued an urgent appeal to the public to ask for help in identifying a woman captured on CCTV footage. Officers want to speak to the woman pictured and believe she has vital information in relation to the murder of Alana Armstrong.
The young mum died at the scene of a collision in Batley Lane, Pleasley. It is understood she had been rammed off an e-bike on the country lane by a dark coloured 4x4 believed to be a Land Rover Discovery.
The vehicle had reportedly followed two e-bikes before ramming one of the bikes causing the rider and the passenger on the back to fall off the bike. The car then drove away from the scene without stopping.
