US Flag Flown at Half-Staff at Marine Corps Museum Following Kabul Attack

The US flag was flown at half-staff at the Marine Corps Museum in Triangle, Virginia, on August 27 to honor service members and civilians killed in an attack at Kabul’s airport the previous day.

The flag will remain at half-staff until August 30, the museum said, in line with President Biden’s proclamation that the flag shall be flown at half-staff until sunset on that date at the White House and at public buildings and military grounds. Credit: US Marine Corps Museum via Storyful
