US vampire drama from Breaking Bad studios filming in Glasgow city centre
Filming for a new six-part vampire drama is set to take place in Glasgow city centre next month.
AMC Studios - who also produced Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead - are bringing a new six-part drama series called Talamasca to US screens. The show is part of the network's Anne Rice franchise -filming is scheduled to take place in Glasgow and Manchester between October and February 2025.
AMC Studios have requested to film on Bothwell Street for one day - this will mean closing a section of the road and surrounding streets on Saturday, October 12 and Sunday October 13.
Affected businesses have been made aware as local traffic management will monitor road closures.

Bothwell Street between Pitt Street and West Campbell Street
Douglas Street and Blythwood Street between Waterloo Street and St Vincent Street
Bothwell Lane between Blythswood Street and West Campbell Street
St Peters Lane for its full length
St Vincent Lane between Pitt Street and West Campbell Street
Glasgow City Council will also be approached for dispensation of parking bays in order to accommodate technical vehicles.
In a letter sent to businesses and office blocks in the area, the Talamasca team wrote: "We would like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your co-operation while we plan the forthcoming shoot. We are working closely with Glasgow Film Office and Glasgow City Council roads department and they are supportive of our scheduled activity."
