Utah Authorities Urge Ski Resort Visitors to Plan Ahead Amid Winter Storm Warning

The Utah Department of Transportation urged travelers “eager to enjoy the freshies” to consider early departures from the Cottonwood Canyon ski resorts on January 10, as the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a winter storm warning in the region.

The NWS forecasted snow accumulations of 8 to 16 inches, with locally higher amounts in the Upper Cottonwoods, and said snow would persist into early Wednesday morning.
