Utah's Halfway Hill Fire Grows to Nearly 8,000 Acres

Authorities said the Halfway Hill Fire had grown to nearly 8,000 acres on Sunday, July 10, as it burned south of Fillmore, Utah.

After the fire broke out on Friday, the Millard Coounty Sheriff’s Office ordered evacuations for the Virginia Hills subdivision near Fillmore. On Sunday, four people were charged in connection with the fire, which officials believe was started at a campsite, local affiliate FOX 13 reported.
