The series focuses on detective Cassie Dewell (played by Kylie Bunbury) and former police officer Jenny Hoyt (played by Katheryn Winnick). Cassie and Jenny decide to work together in the hopes of finding two sisters who were kidnapped by a truck driver. The incident took place in Montana on a derelict part of the highway.

The pair quickly realise that the sisters are not the only girls who have disappeared recently. They are left with limited time to catch the dangerous kidnapper before anyone else gets hurt or put at risk.

In addition to Roché, Veintimilla, Bunbury and Winnick, other cast members include Brian Geraghty, Dedee Pfeiffer, Natalie Alyn Lind, Jade Pettyjohn, Jesse James Keitel and Valerie Mahaffey.

In Big Sky, Roché will play the role of Sheriff Wagy, a polite but mysterious County Sheriff. Although Wagy is accomodating and lives for his job, Cassie and Jenny will question his motives as he refuses to help their investigation whenever possible.

Meanwhile, Veintimilla is set to play Rosie Amaya, the daughter of Gil Amaya, the Kleinsasser family's ranch manager.

Big Sky airs on ABC in the US and Disney+ in the UK.
