Van driven at man on bike after argument near Clacton Co-op shop

A van was driven at a man after a confrontation in Clacton on Wednesday (June 19). Essex Police are appealing for information about the incident.

The force said there had reportedly been a confrontation between two men at about 7.45am near the Co-op on Coopers Lane. The older man chased the younger into the Co-op.

A short time later, a red van was driven at the younger man. It hit his bicycle but did not hit him.

The younger man was able to get to safety. His bike was badly damaged.
