Van flips over in dramatic collision before emergency crews tape off street
A van dramatically flipped over onto its side in a crash with two other vehicles in Droylsden on Tuesday (September 24). Police, paramedics and fire crews attended the incident on Greenside Lane at around midday.
The road was taped off after the collision, with a white van seen on its side in the middle of the road. Another car was seen with a badly damaged bonnet at the junction of a nearby street.
Pictures from the scene showed a heavy emergency services presence, with debris from the vehicles involved seen strewn over the road.

Details about the condition of those involved in the collision have not yet been confirmed. The road remained closed for around 80 minutes before the scene was made safe.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 12pm this afternoon (Tuesday 24 September), two fire engines from Gorton and Ashton-under-Lyne fire stations attended a crash involving three vehicles on Greenside Lane, Droylsden.
“Crews arrived quickly and worked with North West Ambulance Service and Greater Manchester Police to make the vehicles safe. Firefighters were in attendance for around one hour and 20 minutes.”
