Vehicles badly damaged after two-car crash in Coventry
Two cars were badly damaged following a crash at a busy junction in Coventry. It happened yesterday evening (Monday, November 18).
Police were called to the incident at around 6pm. Firefighters were also sent to the scene and found that two cars had been involved in a collision at the junction of Elmsdale Avenue and Foleshill Road.
Crews spent around half an hour at the scene making the vehicles safe, West Midlands Fire Service said. Nobody was believed to have been injured.

In a statement issued today (November 19), West Midlands Fire Service said: “We responded to Elmsdale Avenue close to the junction with Foleshill Road at around 6pm on Monday (November 18). Crews from Coventry attended, arriving to find two cars in collision on the road.
“Nobody was trapped or injured. We made the vehicles and scene safe and left the incident with West Midlands Police. We left the scene at 6.23pm.”
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We were called to Foleshill Road after a two-car collision that happened shortly before 6pm. No one was reported as having life-threatening injuries.”
