Ventura County Brush Fire Appears on Satellite

Timelapse satellite imagery shows a fast-moving brush fire that broke out in Southern California on Wednesday, November 6, fueled by dry conditions and strong Santa Ana winds.

Fire officials said the Mountain fire was an estimated 14,500 acres in size with no containment as of Thursday morning. Evacuation orders were in effect for parts of Ventura County.
