Vibrant Aurora Dance in North Dakota Sky
Photographer Elan Azriel was left awestruck after witnessing what he described as an “unbelievable” display of aurora borealis over Grand Forks, North Dakota, on Monday night, August 29.
Azriel said he had already seen the lights five times this summer, but that Monday’s display was “easily” his favorite of the season.
“By 11 pm, it became bright and brilliant, resulting in this fantastic timelapse, which was created by taking over 100 photographs for over an hour,” Azriel told Storyful. “This was one of the best aurora displays I’ve seen and was a truly magical experience.” Credit: Elan Azriel via Storyful
