Vicky Pattison ‘Doesn’t Want TOWIE To Be The Megan McKenna Show’

Megan McKenna made the quite impression in her debut on The Only Way Is Essex, getting caught up in a row during a fancy dinner party.

With a reputation for ‘explosive outbursts’, a reputation she recently discussed, the Ex On The Beach star has clashed with Kate Wright over a ‘dog’ jibe.

Well, it wouldn’t be TOWIE without some drama, right?

With viewers’ opinions on the new Essex cast member being a mixed bag so far, former Geordie Shore housemate Vicky Pattison has had her say, admitting she loves Megan but hopes she doesn’t ‘takeover’ the reality show.

Vicky and Megan, who is dating TOWIE’s Pete Wicks, appeared on MTV’s Ex On The Beach together, and have both held reputations for their fierce personalities - the Loose Women panellist for her past outbursts on Geordie Shore.

Speaking about Megan’s new role, Vicky told MailOnline: “She’s going to be very good for TOWIE, she’s going to cause a lot of drama. But I don’t want to see it become the Megan McKenna show.

“I love her personally, but TOWIE’s an ensemble cast and I just hope it stays that way. Not one person can hold an entire series. The show didn’t crumble when Mark Wright left, Geordie Shore didn’t crumble when I left. I just hope everyone’s mindful of that.”

Having been rumoured to be joining TOWIE herself, Vicky added that she doesn’t think she could do the whole ‘kicking off’ thing anymore, saying: “I’ve turned my back on shouting and screaming on the TV.”
