Reality star Vicky Pattison has been receiving treatment to help her hair grow.

The procedure includes a professional withdrawing blood from Vicky's veins and micro-injecting it back into her scalp. Pattison uses Doctor Tijion Esho for the treatment, who updates his social media account with videos of his latest patients.

Explaining her reasons for undertaking the treatment, Pattison shared: "For the last couple of years I've been getting progressively more concerned about the condition of my hair, it's under a lot of stress – it is under a lot of pressure.

"I've abused hair extensions, it's constantly being styled, it's constantly being pulled in all different directions and subsequently I am experiencing a little bit of... what I've described as probably traction alopecia. Bald patches, thinning and when you consider I'm only 30, the only place to probably go from here in terms of the hair world is down."

The Geordie Shore star concluded: "I am really starting to panic".

Medical procedures are all the rage with reality stars at the moment, take for example Calum Best who's bloodcurdling cupping treatment flushes out toxins from his body.

Meanwhile, Pattison has recently been discussing her experience working on I'm A Celeb: Extra Camp, for which she was pummelled with jibes from unimpressed viewers. "It was an amazing opportunity, but I don't know if I was ready. Maybe I ran before I could walk".
