Victor Moses the latest Chelsea player to want to quit the Blues

Crystal Palace face battle with Cardiff for £12m Victor Moses transfer

Victor Moses is the latest Chelsea fringe player considering his future at the club.

The Nigerian has played just 143 minutes for the club this season, of which 90 came at Liverpool in the League Cup. Moses is in contention to feature against BATE Borisov tonight, was a regular under Antonio Conte as a right wing-back.

However, Maurizio Sarri plays with four, rather than five, in defence. He also considers Moses only as a right winger, with Willian and Pedro ahead of the 27-year-old in the pecking order for that position.

Moses, who quit playing for Nigeria after the World Cup to focus on his club career, will have two years remaining on his contract at the end of this season.

Sarri’s decision to pick from a core group of 14 players for League games has caused frustration among those consistently left out.

Gary Cahill and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have suggested they will look for a move in January, while Andreas Christensen’s father, Sten, who is also his agent, has warned the Dane will leave if he does not play more.

Meanwhile, England Under-19 winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has not made a single appearance despite impressing in pre-season.

Sarri is expected to make up to six changes to the side that drew against Manchester United for tonight’s clash.

Eden Hazard is out with a back problem, while Jorginho is to be rested. Pedro and Cesc Fabregas are expected to replace them.

Sarri has already stated that Christensen will be in the first XI and Cahill is in line to play alongside him in central defence. Loftus-Cheek is set to start just his second game of the season.
