Victor Moses believes Chelsea's win over Burnley shows why the Blues should not be written off in the race for a Champions League spot this season.

Moses was named man of the match after he created Chelsea's first goal - a Kevin Long own goal in the 20th minute - and then scored the winner after Burnley had equalised at Turf Moor.

The 2-1 victory moved Chelsea to within five points of fourth-placed Tottenham and will inject the Blues with confidence that they can still secure a spot in Europe's elite competition.

The Blues also have Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Southampton to consider and Moses thinks Chelsea's back-to-back wins in the past week show that Antonio Conte's side still have fight left in them to make this season a success.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Moses said: "I thought we deserved the three points today from start to finish.

"It is not an easy place to come and win. We want to take each game as it comes.

"We can't write ourselves off. We just need to finish as strongly as we can."
