Yahoo News Victoria Beckham begs magician David Blaine to make husband disappear in TV special
They might be one of the top UK power couples – but that didn’t stop Victoria Beckham from jokingly begging David Blaine to make her husband vanish in the magician’s TV special this week.
David Beckham appeared as a celebrity guest on the latest episode of Beyond Magic, but it was former Spice Girl Victoria who delivered the best line of the night, despite being in a separate room from the illusionist.

“How is that even possible,” the awestruck former footballer exclaimed following a demonstration of a trick, to which his wife responded with perfect comic timing: “Has anyone made David disappear yet?”
The retired sportsman didn’t take offence over his wife’s joke; instead he described what he had witnessed, with producers adding footage of the street magician sewing his mouth shut before spitting out two live frogs.
Visibly shocked, Becks said: “You have no idea what happened. This is ridiculous.”

The father of four went on to explain: “He says name an animal he can keep alive in his hand. I said frog. So he sewed his mouth shut with needle and thread, I thought the sewing the mouth was the trick, forgot about the frog bit.”
He added: “Live frogs came out of his mouth! Oh my God!”
The Beckham’s were not the only celebrities to witness Blaine’s un-frog-ettable trick, as he also visited Drake and Dave Chapelle on his TV special trip before he sets off on his first world tour, which has been three years in the making.

David added: “This is my favourite special so far. The fact that it’s the first time that there’s an actual story and a little bit of a reveal other than just me doing the magic as a mysterious strange character — you get a peek inside of my world.”
David Blaine will be launching his first worldwide tour in 2017.
