Victoria Beckham is celebrating her son Brooklyn's A-level results by getting pretty emotional - and she's posting the proof to Instagram.

The 18-year-old, and eldest offspring of celebrity mega couple Victoria and David, got his A-level results along with the rest of the country earlier this week.

And, despite her superstar status, Posh Spice proved she was just another regular mum by sharing a soppy social media post to celebrate her son's achievements as she revealed the exciting news that Brooklyn got the grades he was hoping for.

"We are all so proud of you, Brooklyn," she captioned a photo of herself and her son. "Amazing A level results and off to college.

"We love you so much and will miss you #yesiamcrying #emotional."

Brooklyn will be attending college in the US to study photography, which will probably come as a relief to many a fan on Twitter as some social media users seem to think he could use a bit of help in crafting those not-so-acclaimed photography skills of his.

In June this year, the teenager faced a lot of social media backlash over his photography book - titled What I See - as Twitter fans mocked David and Victoria's son for his underwhelming images and captions.

In reponse, Brooklyn's publishers Penguin Random House Children's released a statement that read: "What I See is a book for teenagers, by a teenager, which gives Brooklyn's fans broader insight into his world seen through his unique and creative perspective.

"Teenagers lives are filled with the visual image and we know Brooklyn's photos resonate with his huge young following, who avidly follow his life through his photography."

Hmm. Perhaps he'll win those naysayers around in four years time.
