As for her personal style, since ditching her Y2K WAG looks (white micro shorts, England tank, bug-eye sunnies and XXL Hermès bag), Victoria has very much lived up to her Posh Spice moniker, opting for super chic, monochrome, modest ensembles that are the epitome of the quiet luxury aesthetic. Which is why her latest ad campaign took us by surprise...
In a series of posts on Instagram to promote her upcoming debut fragrance line, Victoria Beckham can be seen trying the "naked dressing" and "underwear as outerwear" trends on for size – and looking amazing, of course.
In the first photo, Victoria looks stunning in a super-sexy, strappy black lace bra, paired with a bold red lip, huge diamond ring and a black lace face covering. It's giving high-fashion Fifty Shades vibes, and we're loving seeing her step out of her sartorial comfort zone a little. Plus, can we take a moment for her impressively toned arms?
But the next campaign image is definitely our fave. To promote her new Portofino '97 scent, that's inspired by "scenes of a burgeoning romance and embodies my first romantic getaway to Portofino in 1997 with David," Victoria poses on rocks by the sea wearing a totally see-through mesh dress with just a tiny nude bikini underneath.
With her wet, wavy, wind-swept hair and fishnet-inspired outfit, she looks like a (very chic) mermaid.
Here's hoping this is just the start of a more experimental, sexy style phase for Victoria. We'll be eagerly awaiting the next lot of pics...
