Victoria Beckham on why she thinks her 20-year marriage to David Beckham has lasted

Fashion designer Victoria Beckham appeared on the TODAY show in New York City on Tuesday morning to discuss her new beauty line and her 20-year marriage to soccer star David Beckham.

“I think that the kids are our priority and everything we do revolves around the children,” Victoria said about their relationship. “We both work really hard, we love what we do professionally and we support each other,” she added.

She and David share children Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 17, Cruz, 14, and Harper 8.

Brooklyn Beckham is currently pursuing his own busy career. He’s focusing on his photography and has shot for magazines including Notion and Man About Town.

The former Spice Girl just launched Victoria Beckham Beauty and also runs her successful fashion line. David is President of Miami FC and co-owns Salford City.

While they both have many professional obligations, Victoria said the couple never forgets that the key to any good relationship is communication and focusing on the family.

“We’re very present in the kids' lives. We love our family. Everything we do revolves around our family. I think it’s just been focusing and working hard. Having a great support team around us. Both of our parents are very present and help with the kids,” she said.

While the designer does make her children a priority, she says she still sometimes feels guilty about focusing on her business.

“You feel guilty when you’re a working mom. I’m sure there are so many moms watching this right now who feel really torn. You want to be the best professional and follow your dreams but you also want to be the best mom. Feeling like that is not good for anyone,” she explained.
