Victoria Beckham has publicly wished her former Spice Girls bandmates good luck ahead of the first date of their reunion tour.

Victoria made the decision not to return to the band as her alter ego Posh Spice when they announced the Spice World tour.

She is leaving the comeback to Geri Horner, Mel B, Mel C, and Emma Bunton, and has ruled out a cameo appearance.

Victoria wrote alongside a throwback image of the girls from their famous 1997 Brit Awards performance writing: "Good luck to the girls today as they start their tour! x VB #SpiceGirls #FriendshipNeverEnds"

Victoria has made it clear that she won’t make a cameo appearance on the Spice Girls tour, even before rehearsals began. She’s confirmed she is "definitely not" going to be taking to the stage alongside her band-mates, even in hologram form.

Speaking to The Guardian Weekend magazine, the singer revealed that her fashion line had prevented her from returning to stadiums.

When asked whether it was a difficult decision, she replied: “Not at all. What I do now is my passion and a full-time job.”

She did add, though, that she was excited to see her friends perform, and expected to get jealous when they took to the stage without her.

The Spice Girls have teased details of the costumes for their Spice World 2019 reunion tour.

The Wannabe singers - minus Posh - are due to open in Dublin, and Geri Horner is officially Ginger Spice again as she unveiled her newly dyed red hair.

Details of the outfits Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Mel B will wear for the shows have been revealed online, with each Spice Girl due to make 5 costume changes each during the show.
