Victoria fire: 60 firefighters called to blaze on building under construction in central London

A large fire has broken out at a construction site near Victoria Station, with black plumes of smoke seen from miles away. Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters are tackling the blaze in a building under construction on Wilton Road.Waste material on the seventh floor is alight, London Fire Brigade said. The Brigade received 12 calls to the blaze just after 12.30pm on Tuesday.The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
