Victoria Taylor family's heartbreak over 'sick' post about missing Malton mum
The family of a missing mum from North Yorkshire has spoken out after a Facebook troll made a "sick" post about the ongoing search.
Victoria Taylor, 34, was last seen more than a week ago at her home in Malton at around 9am on Monday, September 30. Since her disappearance thousands have joined her family and friends in the search, with many volunteering their time in trying to find her around the town or surrounding areas.
A Facebook page called The Search for Victoria Taylor has been set up be friend Charlotte Cundill and has been instrumental to those helping to spread the word and organise search parties. But in one instance branded "sick" and "disgusting" a troll posted on Monday, October 7 that Vicky had been found and a police statement would soon be issued.

One of Victoria's sisters was quick to respond to the post after deleting and blocking the culprit. Emma posted: "Please do not believe what people post, the idiot has been blocked. If our Vixx has been found are the police going to go on this group and tell a randomer of phone me, Heidi or Matthew? The updated post will be updated when we know info or want to share it we will do it on our future post. Again more stress created for us."
Many other members of the group were quick to share their sympathies and best wishes for the ongoing search. AMong them was Carole March, who wrote: "One day he'll find karma will come round to him. I'm so sorry it happened but well done for you're quick response. I don't know Vixx but I know people who do and they have nothing but good things to say about her. As a mum and a nana I send my love and prayers to her family and friends as you all face another day."
And Kate Rees wrote: "Some people have nothing better to do than cause unnecessary distress to others. I'm so very sorry that this happened."
Gilly Marie posted: "I don’t know Victoria personally but the sad thing is they are some right cranks in this world, they are everywhere. Stay strong love to her family and friends and to all those heading out today stay safe."

Victoria was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black Adidas original puffer jacket with white stripes down the sleeves and a grey Jack Wills hooded jumper. She was last seen at around 9am, before she was captured on CCTV two hours later buying a soft drink at the M&S based at the local BP garage.
Specialist divers have been scouring the River Derwent after a number of the nurse's personal belongings were found nearby the riverbank.
Inspector Martin Dennison from North Yorkshire Police said: “We are very concerned about Victoria’s whereabouts and, like her family and friends, just want to see her safe and well."
