Victory Fellowship Church to host "The Story Tour"

Jan. 16—THOMASVILLE — On February 23, Victory Fellowship Church will host "The Story Tour," a one night musical event presented by Found and Favored Ministries and Celebrate Recovery to invite those who are hurting due to addiction or bad habits to come and experience the Lord.

"It's just going to be a night event for people who are struggling or hurting or just need a touch from the Lord," said Victory Fellowship Church Office Manager and Celebrate Recovery Leader Shona Rountree.

Victory Fellowship Church will be putting on the event in part to raise awareness for the Celebrate Recovery ministry. The ministry is geared toward helping those who struggle with bad habits or addiction and providing a way out centered around Christ.

"The way we see it, everyone has a hurt that developed into a hang up that developed into a habit," Rountree said.

The one night event, "The Story Tour," will be a "musical journey" and will feature music from the Allan Scott Band. Scott will also share some inspiring stories about ministry and folks in attendance will also get the chance to hear from Pastor Travis Habbershon, a suicide survivor.

According to Found and Favored Ministries, the night will be filled with "powerful testimonies and stories of God's redemption; all designed to communicate one truth: 'with Jesus, your story isn't over.' Found and Favored Ministries calls the event "a powerful and unique experience for those who are hurting and struggling."
