Video: Alaska glacier fall panic

Tourists in Alaska were left stunned as a huge glacier collapsed before their eyes- causing a panic that it could have overturned the boat they were sailing on.

Passengers on board struggled to keep their footing after the collapse that was filmed at Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska. Splintered sections of the ice broke off and were propelled into the boat with passengers lucky to avoid the majority of the larger chunks.

A large wave caused by the ice fall sparked momentary worry for the boat which stopped sharply to move away from the cliff edge. Fortunately the vessel was rocked gently from the wave, far enough away enough to avoid any major damage.

One woman reportedly broke her leg amid the panic of the collapse.
