Video Shows Moment Shots Fired At Weigh-In

A video shows the moment gunmen with AK-47s opened fire at a hotel during a boxing weigh-in, forcing one of the fighters and members of the public - including children - to run for their lives.

The video starts with one of the boxers standing on the scales in his underpants, flexing his biceps for the cameras.

Officials dressed in suits make notes as photographers' flashes illuminate the stage and heavy metal blasts out the speakers.

As the boxer steps off the stage to get dressed, the chaos begins.

People suddenly bolt for the door to escape an unseen threat - chairs are shoved out the way and one man can be heard shouting "what's happened?" as the camera spins around.

The cameraman dashes from the function room into a side yard, alongside a man and his frightened child.

"Come with me!", shouts the man, as another gunshot appears to ring out from inside the room.

One man was killed and two injured when the three gunmen stormed the hotel during the event for a championship boxing night scheduled for Saturday night.

Witnesses say they were disguised in police-style uniforms when they stormed the hotel at round 2.30pm on Friday.
