Video Of Polar Bear Cub Sleeping With Its Teddy Is The Cutest Thing You’ll Ever See

Cuteness alert! This video footage of a polar bear cub sleeping in its cot with a stuffed teddy might fill your annual awwwwwww quota.

The clips shows a female cub who was abandoned by her mother and is being looked after by staff at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Powell, Ohio.

Unfortunately, the baby’s mother was too depressed to look after her following the death of her other cub. But the five-week-old cub, who hasn’t been named yet, is in good hands.

In the video, she can be heard making a loud noise, which staff at the zoo say means she is happy.

The stuffed teddy she cuddles is actually a moose.

On its Facebook page, Columbus Zoo and Aquarium posted: “At 5 weeks old, the polar bear cub is doing very well; she weighs a little over 4 pounds and measures 16 inches long.

“Both eyes have started to open as of yesterday, but they are not fully open yet.

“The care staff says the sound that she makes in the video is of contentment.

“Her motor skills are improving each day and she has started trying to stand up on all fours, especially when she’s ready for her next meal!

“She is on six feedings a day, every four hours. The team has been evaluating her daily needs and provides care 24/7.”
