Video Shows Second Missouri Tour Boat Fighting Through Deadly Storm

The number of reported deaths from the capsizing of a tour boat on Table Rock Lake near Branson, Missouri, on July 19 rose to 17 on July 20, with officials saying that seven members of a single family were among the victims, according to local media.

Twenty-nine passengers and two crew members were on board the Ride the Ducks Branson boat when it overturned and sank during a fast-moving storm. Gina Lemus was on board another Ride the Ducks boat with her husband and their five children when the incident occurred, but told the Kansas City Star they were originally meant to be on the boat that sank.

Her husband, Paul Lemus, shot this footage as their boat fought through the storm to make it back to shore. Gina told the Kansas City Star that the distressed boat went under just as the boat they were traveling on made it back.
