3,500kg Basking Shark Caught Off the Coast of Victoria

A 3,500-kilogram (7,700-pound) basking shark was caught off the coast of Portland, Victoria, on Sunday, June 21. The 6.5-metre (21-foot) long shark was donated to Museum Victoria for scientific research.
