Aerial Footage Shows Extent of Flooding in Washington's King County

Video from the King County Sheriff’s Office shows the extent of flooding damage in the northeast portion of the Washington state county. Heavy rains triggered flooding across the state, pushing rivers over their banks.

Local media reported on November 19 that many of the rivers have started to recede. Some schools remained closed, and 50,000 homes remained without power. Washington Gov. Jay Inslee declared a state of emergency, which allows the activation of the National Guard where needed. Credit: YouTube/King County Sheriff’s Office
