Aid Continues to Arrive at Kathmandu Airport

Aid continues to be dropped at Kathmandu airport for those in need after recent earthquakes in Nepal.

US Marine helicopters also continued their efforts in locating those affected by the latest earthquake in northern Nepal on Tuesday, May 12. A magnitude-7.3 earthquake struck weeks after a devastating magnitude-7.8 quake that killed more than 8,000 people.

Four US Osprey aircraft arrived in Nepal on Sunday, May 3, as part of recovery efforts in remote areas affected by the April 25 quake. The Ospreys, 100 US Marines and two helicopters are now present in Kathmandu, according to the US Department of Defense. Credit: Instagram/cherylhan
