Air Strikes Pound Sana'a District Near Presidential Palace

Saudi air raids hit locations near the presidential palace in Sana’a from Sunday to Monday night, March 30, and continued through the day, according to Reuters. Humanitarian workers and Houthi-controlled media also said an air strike on the al-Mazraq refugee camp at Haradh in northwest Yemen on Monday, killed dozens of people and wounded many more.

Saudi Arabia launched airstrikes in Yemen last week to support Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi against Houthi fighters, who have seized control of the capital. Hadi first retreated to Aden before leaving the country last Thursday.
