Alaska National Guard Assists in Fight Against Wildfires

The Alaska Army National Guard is assisting efforts to control wildfires throughout the state. Crews have flown more than 36 hours, dropped 365 buckets and dispensed 254,500 gallons of water since Sunday, according to a press release.
