Alaska's Sockeye Wildfire Destroys Buildings, Threatens Many More

A giant wildfire continued to burn near Willow, Alaska, on June 15. The fire has consumed 6,500 acres of land and destroyed about a dozen homes overnight, according to local media. Hundreds of people have been evacuated, and the fire is zero percent contained. The fire has spread into Willow proper and is threatening multiple businesses and homes.
