Armenian Genocide Commemorated in Georgian Capital Tbilisi

Hundreds of people, including many ethnic Armenians, marched in the Georgian capital Tbilisi on April 24 to mark the centenary of the Armenian genocide, in which up to 1.5 million Armenians were killed by the Ottoman Empire. According to reports, the crowd gathered outside the Turkish embassy to call on the Turkish government to recognise the genocide.
