Artist creates world's largest water mosaic

Artist Serge Belo has created what he claims to be the world’s largest water mosaic to raise public awareness about the global clean-water crisis. The work is composed of 66,000 cups of colored rainwater simulating levels of impurities found in water all over the planet. It spans 3,600 square feet, and was made using 15,000 litres of coloured rainwater and 1kg of vegetable dye. It took more than 100 volunteers 62 hours of work to finish.
