Australia marks Anzac Day with dawn services across the country

Tens of thousands of people turned out around the country to commemorate Anzac Day, marking the 101st anniversary of the landings at Gallipoli. Sydneysiders gathered at the Cenotaph in Martin Place for the dawn service, in Melbourne a crowd of 45,000 attended the Shrine of Remembrance and in Canberra thousands braved the cooler weather to attend the dawn service outside the Australian War Memorial.
