Authorities Disperse Palestinian Demonstrators in Beit El

Israeli authorities dispersed Palestinian demonstrators using tear gas and rubber-coated metal bullets in the Beit El settlement north of Ramallah on Saturday, October 10, Palestinian media reported. Student demonstrators had marched from Birzeit University toward a military checkpoint, according to the reports. The demonstration took place amid heightening tension in the region.
