Colorado Blizzard's Winds Create Drifts

A blizzard bore down on the Colorado Springs, Colorado, area on November 17 with blowing snow. Up to a foot of snow fell, according to local media, closing schools, businesses and roads. The wind also created snow drifts of several feet in some places. The wind also blew snow back across streets that had been plowed.
