Conservatives' Election Manifesto Promises 'Good Life' for All

David Cameron’s Conservative Party released their 2015 campaign manifesto to the public on April 14, with a video message which promised a “brighter, more secure future.”

Cameron announced plans to raise the United Kingdom’s inheritance tax threshold to 1 million pounds ($1.5 million) on April 12 in a bid to protect family homes from the controversial ‘death duty.’ Cameron pledged in a video released on April 11 that his Conservative Party would boost annual spending on the National Health Service by at least 8 billion pounds ($11.7 billion) by 2020, should his party remain in government after May’s election.
