David Beckham Works With UNICEF to Tackle Seven 'Urgent Priorities'

David Beckham has teamed up with UNICEF to 7: The David Beckham UNICEF Fund. The initiative aims to tackle seven problems surrounding children’s rights and welfare, with a focus on seven countries that UNICEF considers to be worst affected by those problems. Beckham has worked with UNICEF as a Goodwill Ambassador for 10 years.

The priorities are: child protection (El Salvador); nutrition (Papua New Guinea); HIV and AIDS (Swaziland); health (Djibouti); education (Bangladesh); water, sanitation, and hygiene (Burkina Faso); and social inclusion (Serbia). Beckham has urged world leaders to “put children first” and to “set ambitious global goals to end violence, preventable death, and poverty for every child.” Credit: YouTube/UnicefUK
