Deadly Tassajara Fire Causes Large Plume of Smoke to Blow Into California Sky

One person has been reportedly killed and more than 1,000 acres affected in California’s Tassajara wildfire. The fire, which started on Saturday, burned in Monterey County and had damaged or destroyed 10 residences by the morning of Monday, September 21. Evacuation notices were in place for some residents.
