'Did You Rescue My Mum and Dad?' Asks Girl Pulled From Douma Rubble

Local volunteers rescued a girl from a building destroyed amid airtrikes on Douma on November 16. The video shows the aftermath of the strike as members of the Syrian Civil Defense rescue the girl. The girl says: “Thank God, I am fine. But, did you rescue my mum and dad? My sister and my brother?”

The men in the video assure the girl that her parents are coming to meet her, but it is not clear if they survived the strike.

Sana and Fars News said that the Syrian Army had targeted and destroyed bases of the rebel group Jaysh al-Islam in Douma city, killing many fighters.
