Emergency Summit Due On Greece's Debt Crisis, But No Deal Likely

There are real fears tonight that an emergency summit on Greece's debt crisis will fall short of agreeing a rescue package for the stricken country. Earlier, European stock markets surged amid hope of a deal, but when a meeting between finance ministers broke up without agreement the mood grew more sombre, with the European Commission President warning "we're not yet there".
