ESA Explains Planned Asteroid Impact Mission in New Video

In a new video released on May 21, the European Space Agency (ESA) outlines its planned Asteroid Impact Mission (AIM), which is due for launch in October 2020. AIM would travel to the Didymos asteroids, approximately 11 million kilometres from Earth, and crash a probe into one of the asteroids to analyse the impact and its consequences. Credit: YouTube/ESA
