EU's Olli Rehn Briefs Press at Athens Finance Meeting

Europe’s economic recovery is gaining ground but could face a test from a prolonged period of euro zone low inflation, EU Commissioner Olli Rehn said on April 1. “I am concerned about a possibility of having a prolonged period of low inflation in the euro zone, because this would negatively affect the rebalancing process,” Rehn told reporters on the first day of a two-day Eurogroup Ecofin summit, hosted by Greece as part of its EU presidency.
