Ferguson Protests Begin Ahead of Anniversary of Michael Brown's Death

Protesters marched along Ferguson’s West Florissant Avenue to protest against police brutality on Friday, August 7, two days ahead of the anniversary of Michael Brown’s death. Demonstrators chanted “No justice, no peace. No racist police,” which has become one of the unofficial anthems of the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
