Fire Spares Second City Theater, but Water Damage Threat Remains

The Second City theater was spared in a fire in Chicago on August 26, but the theater company’s offices were destroyed. Three people were injured, including two firefighters, according to local media. Though the fire spared the theater, firefighters were trying to protect it from water damage, according to the report.

It is believed the fire started in the Adobo Grill, which is on the first floor of the building where the offices are located, in the Old Town neighborhood.
